A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. We do not retain a separate log of the terms entered through the tool.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Messages sent by email may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. They remain within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems receive routine technical information when a visitor loads a page:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Gasconade County content identifies official access routes, including the sheriff, Missouri courts, the Missouri State Highway Patrol criminal records repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data are not turned into third-party records or consumer reports. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules govern data submitted to those tools. Review the provider's terms before running a query because this policy does not control the provider's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Gasconade County Sheriff, Missouri Case.net, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.

Missouri criminal-history reporting is separately governed by RSMo §43.503. Those laws should not be read as turning our visitor data into an official county or state record.
